Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Workday Consultant
 
Position type: Full-time (Contract)
Duration: 6 Months (Possi. Ext.)
Location: Minneapolis MN or Charlotte NC CIC (3 Days onsite)
 
As a Workday Consultant, you will:
  • Provides technology support for team member focused applications and processes.
  • Support Workday Engineering functions for our Compensation product team, to deliver a compliant workday extend solution.
  • Work on critical US and global Compensation extend projects that deliver incremental changes to product working in an Agile environment.
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Support the planning and sizing of development items for sprint planning
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Develop, configure, and maintain integrations for assigned product(s) in Workday
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients’ needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
 
The ideal candidate will have:              
  • HR systems experience (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP or Workday)2+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
  •  
  • Technology release or implementation experience
  •  
  • Workday development experience, including integrations
  •  
  • EIB's, Core Connectors, Studio,
  •  
  • Reporting Report Writer, Advanced Reporting
  •  
Desired Qualifications:
  • Workday or other HR systems Compensation experience
  • Experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
  • Experience/Knowledge in Adaptive Workforce Planning, Modeling, Sheets, Reports and Dashboards
  • Knowledge of Adaptive security, permission sets, user groups, access rules
  • Experience in setting up integration between HCM and Adaptive, User sync and SSO
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
  • Ability to shift priorities as workflow/volume dictates
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
  • Workday Extend development experience

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70- $75 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
