Job Description

We're recruiting on behalf of a scaling manufacturing group operating within a high-growth sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious HR Advisor to join the business in a standalone role, with a clear pathway to progress into an HR Manager position as the company continues to grow.Full time or Part Time hours consideredWorking across two sites, you'll partner closely with the senior leadership team, taking ownership of a broad HR remit while helping to support the business through its next phase of growth.The OpportunityThis is a true generalist HR position where you'll have exposure to every stage of the employee lifecycle, working closely with managers to provide practical HR support across the business.Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Advising managers on employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances and performance.
  • Coordinating recruitment activity and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintaining HR records, contracts and employee documentation.
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
  • Supporting payroll by communicating employee changes, holidays and absence.
  • Working with managers to promote employee wellbeing and engagement.
  • Supporting Health & Safety administration and compliance across both sites.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes as the business continues to scale.
About YouThis role would suit an experienced HR Advisor who is looking for more responsibility and the opportunity to develop into a standalone HR professional.You'll ideally have:
  • Previous experience within a HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Experience supporting employee relations cases.
  • A good understanding of UK employment legislation.
  • CIPD Level 3 or above (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
Experience within manufacturing, engineering or another technical environment would be advantageous but isn't essential.What's on Offer
