The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, and loaders, for the safe and efficient movement of shipping containers. • Load and unload containers onto and from railcars and trucks as part of daily logistics operations. • Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis accurately within the intermodal yard. • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate container movements and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Ability to climb ladders and stairs on railcars and equipment.
