Job Description
As a Data Analyst you will be defining and implementing analytics solutions to business problems and creating reporting to support business operations utilizing advanced analytics techniques. This role is located in our West Perth office.
Responsibilities- Clearly define data requirements to enable efficient analysis and testing of hypotheses through discovery analytics.
- Build appropriate solutions, models, or algorithms to effectively address and resolve complex problems.
- Support various business streams with reporting to support decision making and ensure the business is set up for success.
- Recommend and create documentation and governance to ensure repeatability and auditability of processes.
- Drive efficiencies and contribute to the long-term strategy of the business unit, simplifying people and business processes to support RAC strategy and culture.
- Cross-skill team members to build overall capability and develop strong, effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide clear communication about progress, challenges, and deliverables, present analytical results to gain buy-in, and use storytelling to demonstrate the value of analytics solutions, thereby influencing their application to ensure value creation.
- Demonstrated experience in an advanced analytics role, solving complex business problems with analytics.
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with analytics tools.
- Experience with Power BI, including building and managing reports and dashboards.
- Experience with Azure will be highly regarded.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, such as Business or Statistics.
