Amentum is seeking a motivated Data Analyst to join a high-profile Defence program in Adelaide. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support project performance, informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you'll develop reporting solutions, analyse program data, and provide valuable insights into trends, risks and opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and contributing to the success of large-scale projects in a collaborative environment.

What will I be doing day to day?

• Collect, validate and analyse project and program data from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data visualisations
• Monitor project performance and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders
• Identify trends, risks, issues and opportunities through detailed analysis
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports to support project governance requirements
• Work closely with project teams to understand reporting and business needs
• Monitor data quality and support initiatives to improve data integrity
• Assist with the implementation of data management strategies and standards
• Support continuous improvement of reporting, analytics and data processes
• Ensure data is managed in accordance with governance and security requirements

What Sort of Skills Do I Need?

• Experience in data analysis, reporting or business intelligence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience creating dashboards and data visualisations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting and analytics tools
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Must have an active NV1 Security Clearance
