The Role • Responsibility for validation/qualification of production and laboratory equipment, GxP rooms, and related technical building equipment, including cleaning verification. • Support and execution of measurements for qualification, change control, and routine tasks on relevant equipment and systems. • Maintenance of the validated state and management of technical change control processes. • Collaboration with relevant interfaces such as Quality, Compliance, and technical departments. • Assessment of systems throughout their lifecycle, considering technical and economic factors, and initiating improvements as needed. • Responsibility for and support in investigations and root cause analysis of quality events. • Representing the department during international cGMP audits and inspections. What You'll Need • University degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Building Services Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline, with professional experience in planning, constructing, and operating pharmaceutical facilities. • Experience in validation, qualification, and change control/deviation management. • Experience in managing modifications and lifecycle projects within the pharmaceutical environment. • Knowledge of project management and the technical leadership of external service providers. • Expertise in cGMP regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, Good Engineering Practice (GEP) for equipment qualification, and EU-GMP Guideline Annex 1, 11, and 15, as well as 21 CFR Part 11 for computer system validation. • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
