Permanent Full Time $115,000 - $135,000 + Super (depending on experience)

Our client is seeking a Senior MSP Engineer (L3) Senior Azure & Modern Work Engineer to join their growing team in North Parramatta (Sydney). This is a diverse senior level role combining technical leadership, project delivery, escalations, and pre sales responsibilities.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MSP professional who enjoys working across multiple disciplines and wants to play a key role in designing, delivering, and supporting modern IT environments.

The Opportunity

You are strong in Azure and understand modern cloud, identity, security, and Microsoft 365. You've worked across endpoint management and hybrid environments and know how complex client environments can become.

More importantly, you've fixed them-and now you want to design them properly from the start.

This role is centred around Azure and Modern Workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint management, and security, supported by broader infrastructure technologies such as Windows Server, networking, firewalls, wireless, and hybrid environments.

You'll act as a senior technical resource across the business, handling project delivery, supporting pre sales engagements, and serving as a final escalation point when required. While the business already has a dedicated L3 escalation engineer, you'll provide coverage and support as needed to ensure continuity, redundancy, and capacity across the team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and delivering Azure and Modern Workplace solutions end to end
• Acting as a senior escalation point across cloud, Microsoft 365, networking, and infrastructure environments
• Delivering projects across Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and hybrid environments
• Supporting solution design and pre sales activities
• Driving best practice across cloud, identity, security, and infrastructure
• Improving and supporting broader client environments where required
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to team capability
• Managing competing priorities across projects, escalations, and customer initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
• Microsoft 365 and modern workplace solutions (Intune, endpoint management)
• Azure architecture, identity and security best practices
• Hybrid environments including Windows Server
• Security, compliance and identity strategy
• Automation, AI and evolving Microsoft technologies
• Essential 8 Remediation in the Cyber Security arena (bonus but not essential)
• Experience delivering infrastructure and cloud projects
• Ability to operate as a senior escalation engineer when required
• Strong client facing communication and consulting skills
• Pre sales and solution design experience highly regarded
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Positive attitude and strong cultural fit

Working Arrangements

The role is office based during onboarding and training to ensure a thorough understanding of the business, clients, and internal processes.

Following successful onboarding, employees have the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.
