Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP RAR Product Owner with deep expertise in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC), and SAP FICO processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong automotive industry experience, preferably supporting telematics or connected vehicle solutions. This role will own the SAP RAR product and revenue recognition processes, drive production issue resolution, manage enhancement and project backlogs, and collaborate with Finance, IT, Sales, Operations, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the SAP RAR Product Owner and Subject Matter Expert, focusing on revenue recognition within automotive and telematics environments.
• Own and coordinate timely resolution of SAP RAR production issues.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Sales, Operations, and technical teams on solution design and implementation.
• Manage and prioritize enhancement and project backlogs based on business value.
• Maintain strong functional knowledge of SAP OTC and SAP FICO, particularly Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report processes.
• Lead business process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply Agile methodologies to manage sprints, user stories, and team collaboration.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead problem-solving initiatives.
• Promote SAP best practices, including Clean Core principles.
• Communicate effectively with executives, business users, and technical teams.

Required Functional Skills

7+ years of experience in:

• SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (SAP RAR)
• SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including:
  • Sales Order Management
  • Billing
  • Revenue Recognition
• SAP FICO, particularly Record-to-Report processes
• Automotive industry ERP environments
• Telematics or connected vehicle solutions
• Business process mapping and documentation
• Process optimization and continuous improvement
• SAP best practices and Clean Core principles

Required Technical Skills

7+ years of experience in:

• Supporting SAP RAR production environments
• Production issue resolution and system enhancements
• SAP RAR configuration/support and enhancement activities
• Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Integration points between SAP OTC, FICO, and RAR
• Collaborating with technical teams on solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving
• Technical and business stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of SAP ERP experience with a focus on revenue recognition or financial modules.
• Previous experience as an SAP Product Owner or SAP Lead preferred.
• Strong automotive industry experience preferred.
• Agile certification or demonstrated experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
