On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a number of Financial Crime Business Analysts- Corporate Functions for a 6 month contract based in London. It will be a hybrid model.

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for a Financial Crime Business Analyst with strong experience delivering financial crime change programmes within large financial services or investment management organisations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing enhancements to third-party processes and technology, ensuring alignment with updated risk assessment methodologies and standards.

This role is suited to a hands-on Business Analyst with excellent stakeholder management skills, experience working across 1LoD and 2LoD, and a proven track record of driving implementation and delivering tangible business outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Lead gap analysis activities, comparing current state vs. target operating models, and define solutions to address identified gaps.
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate Functions internal stakeholders and external third parties, including TPAs, outsourcers, and managed services providers.
  • Partner with both 1LoD and 2LoD teams to deliver effective financial crime solutions.
  • Develop and deliver communications and training materials to support business change initiatives.
  • Support business change projects end-to-end, including process design, stakeholder workshops, and implementation delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and internal governance standards throughout project execution.
  • Produce clear, concise documentation, including target operating models, risk frameworks, and implementation plans.

The skills you'll need:

  • Significant experience as a Business Analyst working on financial crime change programmes within large financial services organisations.
  • Proven experience in implementation delivery, not just analysis - must be comfortable "getting stuck in" to drive change.
  • Experience with financial crime customer lifecycle management.
  • Exposure to third-party oversight and working with external service providers.
  • Strong experience liaising with stakeholders across both first line of defence (1LoD) and second line of defence (2LoD).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to produce and deliver communications and training content to support change initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with gap analysis and defining target operating models.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).

Desirable:

  • Experience in Corporate Functions environment (eg: Finance, Procurement, HR)
  • Familiarity with financial crime standards.
  • Some exposure to project management responsibilities.
