Responsibilities
- Support daily vehicle operations and help maintain vehicle readiness
- Execute software and hardware tests, including setup, launch, verification, and data capture
- Review test data and vehicle logs to help identify failures and trace root causes
- Document findings clearly and share written and verbal feedback with engineering teams
- Create and log issue reports in JIRA, including known and newly discovered defects
- Assist with mission preparation, paperwork, and readiness documentation
- Contribute to defect tracking from initial recognition through resolution
- Support a variety of tasks inside and outside the vehicle as operational needs change
- Help improve testing processes and tools through data collection and operational feedback
- Follow safety-focused procedures and support an open, collaborative work environment
- At least 2 years of experience in complex testing or vehicle testing
- Basic quality assurance testing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze logs, test results, and operational data
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or a similar issue tracking and documentation platform
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented approach with a safety-first mindset
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, overnights, and/or weekends as operational needs require
- Ability to code in Python or another high-level language
- Experience with issue reporting tools such as Jira
- Familiarity with communication busses such as CAN or Ethernet
- Scripting experience for testing, data collection, or automation support
