The Role

As Event Programme Manager, you will lead conference management for association clients, owning the scientific programme from planning committee to live delivery.

- Configure and manage abstract management systems, including submission and peer review workflows.

- Manage speaker logistics from invitation through travel, accommodation and onsite transitions.

- Translate scientific agendas into session grids, coordinating room layouts and AV requirements.

- Maintain master programme databases, keeping apps, websites and print materials aligned.

- Lead onsite programme delivery, managing temporary staff teams at scale.

- Support client briefing, budget liaison and supplier relationships across each project.

The Candidate

To be considered as Event Programme Manager, you will need a solid foundation in programme delivery and abstract management from an industry association environment. Experience with programme delivery in the pharma, healthcare or scientific sectors will be directly relevant.

- Proven project management skills across complex, deadline-driven programmes.

- Hands-on experience with online abstract management systems and processes.

- Strong organisation and prioritisation across multiple workstreams.

- Good client relationship skills with financial awareness.

- Proficient in MS Office with strong written and verbal communication.
