Ideal Profile: A cybersecurity leader who can effectively bridge AI for Cybersecurity (using AI to strengthen cyber defenses) and Cybersecurity for AI (securing AI systems from emerging threats) within a complex banking environment. The candidate will drive the adoption of AI-powered cyber defense capabilities while ensuring AI solutions are designed, deployed, and governed securely in compliance with banking and regulatory standards for our client.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Cyber Risk.
• Hands-on experience in AI Security, GenAI Security, Security Operations (SOC), Threat Detection, Cloud Security, or Cyber Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML security risks, LLM security, prompt injection, data leakage prevention, model governance, and AI risk management.
• Experience working within banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, cloud security frameworks, and regulatory expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, or equivalent certifications.

Experience with Microsoft Security Copilot, Azure AI Security, AWS Security Services, Google Vertex AI Security, or similar platforms.

Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
