They are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Lead to drive excellence in building services design. The Role • Lead and coordinate mechanical design for large, complex construction projects within the Building Services team. • Serve as the central point for technical excellence, team leadership, and client liaison. • Ensure sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective design delivery from concept through construction. • Manage design teams, integrate disciplines, ensure quality control, and drive innovation. • Oversee the mechanical team's workload, ensuring alignment with industry standards and project requirements. • Contribute to business development, including fee production and bid support for new projects. What You'll Need • Chartered Engineer status with CIBSE or IET membership. • Degree in Mechanical Building Services or Electrical Engineering. • Significant experience in mechanical building services engineering and the wider industry. • Proven ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences. • Experience with quality procedures and document control in engineering design. • Ability to pass BPSS security clearance.
