1221 - Junior Electronics / Engineering Technician

MSRC is seeking a full-time Junior Electronics / Engineering Technician to work in a lab environment and perform electrical engineering technician duties to include:

• Fabrication of cable assemblies for test and military hardware.
• Assembly of custom printed circuit boards and cable harnesses to military specifications.
• Fabrication of custom interface boxes and other test hardware.
• Perform analysis, integration, functional testing, troubleshooting, and check-out of hardware according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles.
• Perform periodic electrical testing of cable assemblies, custom circuits, and other military components and document results per customer specifications.
• Modify electrical prototypes to correct functional deviations under direction of Electrical Engineer.
• Develop wiring diagrams and layout drawings for cable harnesses, custom interface boxes, and other system or equipment modifications.
• Write procedures, reports, and other documentation as needed.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in Electronics or related field preferred.

Job Qualifications:

• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with standard test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.)

Additional Requirements:

• Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance.
