The Role

• Lead the development and management of Product Safety across complex engineering projects within a Systems Engineering framework.
• Ensure safety is integrated throughout the project lifecycle, influencing design, build, and delivery decisions.
• Spearhead hazard identification and risk assessment activities, utilizing techniques such as FMEA, HAZOP, and FTA.
• Support the creation and delivery of robust Safety Cases and associated documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineering team members.
• Engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.

What You'll Need

• A STEM degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience with safety analysis techniques (e.g., FMEA, HAZOP, FTA).
• Demonstrated experience in developing Safety Cases and supporting documentation.
• Experience working within a Project Safety Management System.
• Solid understanding of Systems Engineering standards in a safety context.
