Senior Network Engineer - NSX - Defence<br />Contract - 6 Months - fully onsite<br />Based in Yeovil (3-5 days) compressed hours available<br />DV Clearance is required for this role Recruiting for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading organisation delivering secure, mission-critical technology solutions within the UK defence sector. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design, implement and support VMware NSX-T and software-defined networking solutions across highly secure environments, while providing technical leadership to project teams. Experience includes:<br />* Strong experience with VMware NSX-T (or equivalent network virtualisation platforms)

• Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs, QoS and Cisco networking
• Experience with software-defined networking, micro-segmentation and secure network architectures
• Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, network monitoring and virtualised environments
• Previous experience delivering within secure, enterprise or defence environments
• Ability to mentor engineers and own technical delivery It would be an added advantage if you had any of the following:<br />* VMware NSX certification
• VCF, vSphere or vSAN experience
• Automation (Ansible, Terraform, APIs)
