Job Description

Role : Charles River Business Analyst

Location: Naperville, IL - Onsite
Local Candidates Only


Experience: 8–10 Years

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from business and technology stakeholders.
  • Support and enhance Charles River IMS/OMS modules, including Portfolio Management, Order Management, Trading, Compliance, and Rebalancing.
  • Analyze and optimize end-to-end investment lifecycle processes.
  • Configure and maintain pre-trade and post-trade compliance rules and investment guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams on system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Manage integrations between Charles River and platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, State Street Alpha, custodians, and market data providers.
  • Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting for security master, pricing, benchmark, and reference data.
  • Lead UAT activities, develop test cases, support defect resolution, and assist with successful deployments.
  • Support Agile delivery and regulatory/compliance reporting initiatives.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience with Charles River IMS / Charles River OMS.
  • 8–10 years of strong Business Analysis experience.
  • Experience in Asset Management or Capital Markets environments.
  • Strong knowledge of front-office trading workflows, portfolio management, compliance monitoring, and investment operations.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, UAT, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile ways of working.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience integrating Charles River with Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, State Street Alpha, and custodian platforms.
  • Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, ETFs, and other investment products.
  • Experience with data analysis, reconciliation, and regulatory/compliance reporting.
