Job Description:

Role Overview:

As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the technical aspects of Salesforce projects. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, extensive development experience, and the ability to provide technical leadership to a team of developers. This role involves a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including development, setup, customization, data migration, integration, and ensuring the successful deployment of AppExchange products or Salesforce Clouds.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership/ Solution Design:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Salesforce development team.
• Architect and design scalable and robust solutions based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand business requirements and design technical solutions using our SAAS products.
• Assist in the creation of architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Project Management:

• Lead the technical aspects of Salesforce projects from initiation to completion. Assist PMs to allocate tasks to Salesforce development team.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Code Review and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality solutions.

Complex Development:

• Take ownership of the development of complex Salesforce solutions.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Utilize programming languages and tools for customization, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Data Migration & Integration:

• Define and implement a comprehensive integration strategy for Salesforce, ensuring seamless connectivity with other business systems.
• Evaluate and recommend third-party tools for integration purposes.
• Plan and execute data migration activities, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to our products.

Governance and Compliance:

• Establish and enforce governance policies related to release management, change control, and security.
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce platform best practices and security standards.

Mentorship and Training:

• Mentor and coach the Salesforce development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Provide training on advanced Salesforce development concepts and methodologies.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Act as a technical liaison between technical and non-technical teams.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and updates related to SAAS products.
• Participate in training programs and certifications to enhance technical expertise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 10 years of experience in Salesforce Platform & Technologies.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect with a track record of successful project deliveries in software development and customization, preferably in product environments.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and integrations.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), databases, and web technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and client-facing environments.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a development team.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or relevant certifications preferred.
