Tableau/SQL Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tableau / SQL Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in data visualization, dashboard development, SQL querying, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will work with business and technical teams to transform complex data into meaningful insights and actionable dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Build dashboards using Tableau Desktop and publish/manage content through Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.
• Perform data analysis and identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
• Develop calculated fields, parameters, filters, sets, groups, and advanced Tableau visualizations.
• Work with multiple data sources and perform data blending, joins, and relationships.
• Optimize Tableau dashboards and SQL queries for improved performance.
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting and data-quality issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for dashboards, reports, and data processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, developers, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience with Tableau.
• 3+ years of hands-on SQL experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregate functions, and window functions.
• Strong experience developing interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence concepts.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud.
• Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis.
• Knowledge of ETL/data integration concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
