Job Description

Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000



About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, support new product introduction, and deliver operational excellence within a regulated manufacturing environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate process issues and product non-conformances using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and the transfer of products into manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing methodologies.


Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, including Daily Management, Standard Work, and Lean Conversion.
  • Background in process and equipment improvement within a regulated industry.


Desirable

  • Experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Medical Device manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in cleanroom manufacturing.
  • Six Sigma qualification or demonstrated application of Six Sigma tools.
  • CAD design experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
