The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks accurately and safely.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Perform pre and post-use inspections of equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Prior experience with heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
