Role: ServiceNow ITSM Tech Lead

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Experience: 12+ Years

Note: local candidates with CAD, CSA and CIS-ITSM certification are mandatory.

 

Description :

Senior ServiceNow Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated ITSM solutions. This role demands deep ServiceNow ITSM expertise and is pivotal in advancing enterprise IT service delivery through innovation and efficiency.

 

Role :

Senior ServiceNow Technical Lead (ITSM & Release Automation)

Focus Areas: ITSM and CMDB, Basic knowledge on ATF & DPR

Experience Level: 10-15 years of ServiceNow development

Key Mandate: Elevate IT service delivery by automating release readiness, enforcing compliance, and reducing manual effort through AI Agent, Now Assist and “shift-left” quality practices.

🔹 ITSM & Platform Development

Configure and enhance ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Knowledge).

Develop advanced platform solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.

Maintain CMDB health and ensure alignment with CSDM standards.

 

🔹 Technical Leadership & Collaboration

Lead technical design and architecture discussions.

Review and mentor junior developers, enforcing best practices and scalability.

Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core ServiceNow Expertise: Advanced JavaScript, Glide API, Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS).

 

Integrations: REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers.

Methodologies: Agile/Scrum development; strong ITIL knowledge (Change & Release Management).
