Performance Test Lead

Performance & Non-Functional Testing Lead Inside IR35 | Remote with occasional travel to Sheffield We're looking for an experienced Performance & Non-Functional Testing Lead to join a large-scale cloud transformation programme. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience and a proven background delivering performance and non-functional testing across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. You'll be responsible for defining and leading the end-to-end Performance & Non-Functional Testing strategy, ensuring cloud-based services are scalable, resilient, secure, and release-ready. Working closely with Architects, DevOps, Engineering and Product teams, you'll embed performance testing into delivery pipelines and provide clear insight into quality, risk, and operational readiness. requirements:

• Extensive experience delivering Performance & Non-Functional Testing within Identity & Access Management (IAM) environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native applications.
• Expertise in defining and executing testing strategies covering load, stress, volume, resilience, failover, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner or NeoLoad.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Java or Scala) and experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to lead testing teams and engage with technical and business stakeholders in complex enterprise environments.
