Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced EDI Consultant to support and maintain electronic data interchange (EDI) processes within the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator environment. The consultant will ensure reliable, secure, and accurate data exchange between the organization and its trading partners through the IBM Value-Added Network (VAN).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, test, and support EDI transactions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transaction, integration, and data exchange issues.
• Monitor EDI processes to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable transactions.
• Collaborate with internal business teams and trading partners to resolve EDI issues and ensure compliance with requirements and standards.
• Support the setup and testing of new EDI transactions and trading partner integrations.
• Manage assigned project tasks, deliverables, and timelines.
• Maintain detailed documentation of EDI transactions, configurations, mappings, and system changes.
• Ensure EDI processes comply with applicable IT, security, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Provide ongoing production support and assist with process improvements.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with EDI and IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• Experience supporting EDI transactions and trading partner integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of EDI standards, transaction processing, and data integration.
• Experience working with VAN environments.
• Strong documentation and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
