Job Description

Client: Confidential
Position: Senior SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Public Cloud Consultant
Work Location: Primarily remote; travel requirements to Las Vegas, Nevada and Georgia may arise for testing, cutover, and go-live support.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: March 1, 2027
Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week; estimated 520 total hours

Role Overview:
We are seeking a senior-level SAP Warehouse Management Public Cloud resource to support the implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization of a warehouse management solution. The consultant will serve as a functional subject-matter expert and work closely with business stakeholders, project leadership, technical teams, and integration partners throughout the project lifecycle.
This role requires a hands-on consultant who can operate independently, provide clear functional guidance, identify process gaps and risks, and support critical project phases including testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support SAP WM Public Cloud functional design, configuration, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with business process owners to understand warehouse operations, requirements, exceptions, and future-state processes.
  • Provide senior-level guidance on standard SAP Public Cloud capabilities, fit-to-standard practices, and appropriate process design.
  • Support functional specifications, configuration workbooks, process flows, test scenarios, and business-facing documentation.
  • Coordinate with integration, data migration, security, and technical teams to resolve end-to-end process and interface issues.
  •  Participate in solution reviews, design workshops, defect triage, and project status discussions.
  •  Support unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
  •  Contribute to cutover planning, cutover execution, go-live readiness activities, and post-production hypercare.
  •  Travel to Las Vegas and/or Georgia as needed for critical project milestones, including testing, cutover, and go-live support.
  •  Identify functional risks, dependencies, and process gaps early and recommend practical mitigation actions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Senior-level SAP WM functional consulting experience, with demonstrated ownership of warehouse management workstreams.
  • Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud warehouse management capabilities; SAP EWM Public Cloud experience is strongly preferred where applicable to the client solution.
  • Proven experience with warehouse processes such as inbound receiving, putaway, inventory management, picking, packing, staging, shipping, physical inventory, and exception handling.
  • Experience supporting fit-to-standard workshops, functional design, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Strong understanding of integration touchpoints with SAP S/4HANA areas such as procurement, inventory management, sales and distribution, transportation, manufacturing, and finance, as relevant.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with business users and communicate complex functional concepts in clear, practical terms.
  • Experience working in a client-facing consulting environment with distributed project teams.
  • Strong documentation, issue-resolution, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically to Las Vegas and Georgia, subject to project needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and/or warehouse management-related areas.
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology and cloud implementation projects.
  • Experience supporting high-volume distribution, retail, consumer products, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
  • Experience with Fiori applications, role-based access considerations, and public-cloud release management.
