IT Security Specialist

Genesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This job is responsible for assisting in designing and deploying CTI Platform service designs and AWS/Azure database services that enable business strategies. Key responsibilities include facilitating the deployment of complex technical solutions by developing templates, Terraform modules, Ansible playbooks, and automation. The role requires consistently looking for opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency of implementing services and influencing a culture of innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and deploying CTI Platform service designs and AWS/Azure database services
• Facilitate deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, Terraform modules, Ansible playbooks, and automation
• Implement Policy-as-code to define and maintain security and operation standards such as encryption, observability for sensitive data monitoring, and access auditing
• Influence a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Experience with AWS DevOps and Azure DevOps
• Knowledge in AWS/Azure database services
• Experience in coding and automating various integrations in AWS and/or Azure
• 2+ years of experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technology
• 2+ years of experience with Ansible coding
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD toolsets, mainly Git (Bitbucket), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower
• 2+ years of experience with Python coding
• 2+ years of experience with Bash shell coding
• 2+ years of experience with DevOps culture and practices
• Effective communication skills
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of Container technology
• Knowledge of Kubernetes technology
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift
• Knowledge of Redis
• Knowledge of MongoDB
• Knowledge of SingleStore

Pay range: $79.74 - $87.74 per hour
