The Role

• Operate heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Safely load and unload containers from railcars and trucks within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-use inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage container positioning and tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.
• Support daily logistics operations by ensuring accurate and timely handling of freight containers.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with open availability.
