Job Description

Hansen Talent Group is seeking an IT Business Analyst to work with an amazing software team in the greater Columbia, SC area. This opportunity will offer the opportunity to support high-priority projects and room for upward mobility within the team! 

The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting client communications and requirement gathering/analysis processes to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle. 

Duties:
  • Facilitate discovery meetings with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between the technical and business units, ensuring technical specifications align with business requirements.
  • Create and maintain business and functional requirement documentation.
  • Support UAT processes and track defects, escalating work efforts as needed to ensure all items are addressed in a timely manner
  • Provide stakeholders with timely updates on work efforts. 
Qualifications:
  • Experience with stakeholder requirements 
  • Defect tracking and monitoring
