Backend Consultants (Python)

Summary:

• We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies to design, develop, and support scalable backend applications.
• The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Individual Contributor (IC) with experience building production-grade REST APIs, cloud-native applications, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with AI technologies is a strong plus

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.

• Build and support RESTful APIs and production-grade backend services.

• Design and optimize SQL database interactions and data models.

• Develop cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application performance.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of software development experience.

• Strong experience with Python development.

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and REST API development.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

• Proficiency with Git version control.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
