Job description

ABOUT TALON.ONE:

Talon. One, an Adyen company, is the most powerful incentives engine that unifies loyalty, personalized promotions and offer management into a single platform.
Built for enterprise scale and security, Talon. One helps businesses design and deliver incentives that drive real customer behavior.

Today, over 300 of the world’s most-loved brands including Sephora, Gymshark and Costa Coffee work with Talon. One to turn their incentives into a reliable growth engine.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Talon. One is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Operations Manager to serve as a strategic partner to our EMEA Go-To-Market leadership team, driving the rigor, forecasting accuracy, and operational maturity our revenue engine needs as we scale. You’ll own sales forecasting, commission strategy, and deal desk management, while partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal to turn strategic priorities into operational reality. Day to day, that means being the person Sales Leadership turns to for a clear read on pipeline health.

Reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations, this is a business-critical role that directly influences the success of Talon. One’s sales strategy and execution.

This is a full-time role based in Berlin/Munich, Germany.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

You will be joining our 5-person Revenue Operations team, a central pillar of Talon. One’s global go-to-market strategy. We serve as strategic partners, not a support function, to Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Leadership, working across regions to make our revenue engine scalable, data-driven, and aligned. Our mission is to give revenue teams the tools, data, and workflows they need to drive predictable growth and smarter decisions.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

  • Manage the sales forecast rhythm, working closely with Global Sales Leadership to ensure accurate and timely forecasts supported by strong pipeline management and deal qualification practices
  • Work with a modern GTM tech stack, including Salesforce, Ironclad, CaptivateIQ, Gong, and Claude, to drive the insights and automation this role depends on
  • Oversee commission strategy, evaluating and refining commission plans, implementing them in the automation system, and managing the monthly close and payout process
  • Work with Sales Leadership to define KPIs, maintain sales dashboards, and provide insights to drive performance optimization
  • Identify sales process inefficiencies by building rapport with individual Sellers and implementing solutions to improve day-to-day effectiveness
  • Own the Quote-to-Cash process, ensuring smooth configuration in Salesforce, streamlined workflows in CLM, and seamless integration with Finance's billing system
  • Build the deal desk function, managing deal structuring, pricing approvals, and contract reviews while collaborating with sales, legal, and finance teams to accelerate deal velocity
  • Build a rapport with the individual Sellers, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to increase their day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field
  • 6+ years of sales operations experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tech stack tools (Sales Engagement, CPQ, Forecasting, etc.)
  • Expertise in designing and administering sales commission plans, with knowledge of tools like Xactly, Spiff, CaptivateIQ, or similar
  • Extensive experience in deal desk management, including pricing approvals, deal structuring, and contract oversight
  • A strong analytical mindset, with advanced Excel skills
  • Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or technology company is required
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at all levels
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
  • €1,000 annual learning budget and free German language courses to boost your skills
  • 30 days of annual leave, plus extra paid days for your birthday and moving day
  • Home office setup budget, a monthly home office allowance
  • Freedom to work from abroad for up to 90 days worldwide!
  • Mental health support with nilo.health and a discounted Urban Sports Club membership
  • 20% company subsidy on your pension contributions
  • Subsidised BVG public transport ticket and a dog-friendly Berlin office where your furry friend is welcome
  • Lease your ideal bike through BusinessBike
