Cybersecurity Analyst | Tysons, VA, United States | Hybrid A renowned technology solutions provider is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst to join their Security Operations team. This is an opportunity to contribute to critical mission support by monitoring advanced security fabrics and ensuring robust digital defense for a vital operation. The Role • Monitor IT infrastructure for a 24x7 mission-critical Security Operations Center (SECOPs) function. • Perform event analysis within Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems. • Develop response tickets using case management tooling and follow defined security playbooks. • Troubleshoot and escalate events to Tier 2 Analysts for resolution. • Drive enhanced security posture through proactive detection and response compliance. • Work an evening shift (Sunday-Thursday, 3pm-11pm), with potential schedule adjustments. What You'll Need • High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security, or Systems Administration. • Proficiency with SIEM, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Case Management Tools. • Experience supporting operating systems, networking, scripting, and automation. • An active 8140 certification, such as CompTIA Security+. • An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
