Junior Environment Manager
Rate: up to 345 per day - Umbrella only
Duration: 6 months
Location: London - 3 days a week in the office London/Brighton/Staines
Role Summary
The Junior Environment Manager supports the planning, coordination, and governance of non-production environments to ensure effective project delivery and testing activities. The role is responsible for environment scheduling, asset tracking, reporting, and administrative support across environment management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the environment booking and allocation process.
- Coordinate and support environment contention management and resolution.
- Maintain and track environment assets using heat maps and other management tools.
- Ensure environment documentation, artefacts, and records are accurate and up to date.
- Produce regular status reports and management updates.
- Provide administrative and governance support to project and environment management boards.
- Deliver PMO support activities related to environment management, including reporting, tracking, and process compliance.
- Support continuous adherence to environment management processes and standards.
Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow and apply defined processes and procedures.
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping capabilities.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
