About the Role
Business Partner and Functional expert providing detailed analysis and decision-making support to stakeholders, so as to facilitate future business strategies. Sales knowledge would be added advantage (Sales cycle in SW Co's) plus Expenses Management and understanding the end to end of any processes/systems or tools.
Responsibilities
- Co-Pilots to Business Partners
- Own responsibilities / tasks end-to-end; Dedicated / exclusive support for specific business areas.
- Liaise with GBF, Business & Business Ops organizations to execute deliverables (Forecast & Budget review)
- Provide expertise in defining & implementing Business Org changes (SCOA)
- Actively participate in GPO initiatives and projects
- Translate vague / ad hoc business requirements into productive analysis; Complex Scenario Building (E.g. Long range planning, competitive analysis)
- Interpret ad hoc requirements from business and define a solution address the objective of such ad hoc requirements
- Understand key business drivers, define KPIs and incorporate them into packs published to business; Review and update KPIs in sync with changes in business
- Drive discussions, consolidate and summarize positions, Substitute effectively for Finance Business Partners' absence.
- Initiate, own and drive key initiatives / projects with periodic reviews, provide updates and proactively initiate course corrections
Additional responsibilities
- Lead / Drive standardization / automation initiatives
- Mentor Analysts; Design training program
- Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency gains and propose solutions to management, share best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: MBA, CA or CIMA or CMA
- Experience: 9+ years of relevant experience in FP&A
