Structured Cabling Technician
Location: Tremont, PA

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Structured Cabling Technician to support commercial low-voltage installation projects in the Tremont, PA area. This is a hands-on role working in commercial, industrial, and warehouse environments installing and supporting structured cabling infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience pulling and terminating cable, working independently, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. Based on similar internal cabling technician job descriptions and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling
• Terminate cables at patch panels, jacks, faceplates, and network equipment
• Install cable support systems including J-hooks, ladder rack, and cable tray
• Label, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cabling layouts
• Perform rack and stack installations and maintain cable organization
• Follow all site safety requirements and maintain a clean work area
• Work closely with project leads and other trades on active job sites
• Complete daily work documentation and communicate project updates as needed

Qualifications

• 1+ year of structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience
• Experience pulling and terminating copper cabling
• Familiarity with patch panels, keystone jacks, and cable testing
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces
• Strong attendance, work ethic, and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tremont, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
