Senior Security Analyst Leeds | Hybrid Working | Microsoft Security | Defender XDR | Sentinel | KQL I'm working with an exciting new client looking to add several experienced Senior Security Analysts to a high-performing SOC team supporting a regulated enterprise environment.

This is a genuinely hands-on SOC role where you'll own security incidents from detection through to resolution while also driving proactive threat hunting, vulnerability management and continuous security improvements. Tuesday, Thursday, nights, weekends &amp; bank holidays<br />What you'll be doing Investigating and responding to complex cyber security incidents<br />Threat hunting across Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel<br />Using KQL to investigate alerts and identify root cause<br />Working closely with Infrastructure, Cloud and Security Engineering teams<br />Running proactive security activities, including vulnerability scanning and security validation<br />Improving detection rules and strengthening the overall security posture What we're looking for Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Defender XDR<br />Strong experience using Microsoft Sentinel<br />Excellent KQL query writing and investigation skills<br />Proven experience within a SOC or Security Operations environment<br />Experience handling incidents from investigation through to remediation<br />Knowledge of hybrid Microsoft environments (Azure &amp; on-prem)<br />Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisionsNice to have Experience in a SOC covering regulated industries such as Financial Services, Government or Critical National Infrastructure<br />Vulnerability Management (Qualys)<br />Microsoft SC-200 or other recognised security certificationsPlease note:
