The Role:
As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and engaging students in the study of religion, theology, and philosophy. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at A-Level for the right candidate. You will also contribute to the wider religious life of the school, supporting students in their spiritual development and promoting the values of the Catholic faith.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A deep understanding of and commitment to the Catholic faith
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Studies
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards
- A collaborative and supportive approach to working within a team
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people
