Technical Support Engineer - Bedford Our client is looking to recruit a talented Technical Support Engineer to join their growing specialist engineering team in Bedford. Working within the environmental monitoring and instrumentation sector, you'll provide expert support on industry-leading noise, vibration and air quality monitoring systems, helping customers get the very best from cutting-edge technology. About You A degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Electrical, Audio, Acoustical Engineering or Instrumentation, or relevant technical experience.<br />Ideally 2+ years' experience in technical support, field service or a similar engineering role.<br />Experience with scientific, industrial or electronic instrumentation is preferred.<br />Strong fault-finding skills across hardware and software.<br />Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.<br />Well organised, proactive and eager to develop your technical expertise. What You'll Be Doing Providing first and second-line technical support via phone, email and remote access.<br />Diagnosing, troubleshooting and commissioning specialist monitoring equipment and software.<br />Assisting customers with installation, calibration, firmware updates and ongoing technical support.<br />Preparing equipment for dispatch, servicing, repairs and hire.<br />Delivering customer training and producing technical documentation.<br />Supporting demonstrations, site visits and maintaining accurate service records.
