Water Treatment Engineer Progression into Junior Account Manager Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Location: Cambridge An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Water Treatment Engineer to join a successful and growing company based in Cambridge.

This role is ideal for a Water Treatment Engineer looking to develop their career and progress into a Junior Account Manager position. As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will initially focus on delivering high-quality technical services across a range of commercial and industrial sites.

Working alongside an experienced Area Manager, you will receive ongoing support and training to develop your customer-facing and account management skills.

Salary &amp; Benefits £35,000 basic salary with OTE up to £40,000.<br />Company vehicle (Toyota Corolla Commercial or similar).<br />Cashback healthcare plan.<br />Company pension.<br />Ongoing training and professional development.<br />Genuine progression into Junior Account Management.Key Responsibilities Carry out water treatment testing and monitoring using site test kits.<br />Work with cooling towers, steam boilers, and closed systems.<br />Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers.<br />Complete reports and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel.<br />Build strong customer relationships and support service delivery.<br />Work closely with the Area Manager to develop your account management skills.<br />Gradually take on increased responsibility for client relationships and account development.Requirements Experience as a Water Treatment Engineer within the water treatment or water hygiene industry.<br />Hands-on experience using water treatment test kits.<br />Experience with steam boilers, cooling towers, and/or closed systems.<br />Knowledge of HSG274, BG50, and L8 guidance.<br />Strong communication and organisational skills.<br />Full, clean UK driving licence.Apply now or contact Mollie Caswell at Penguin Recruitment for more information
