Founding Deployment Strategist

About the Role

This is a founding-team role at a Y Combinator–backed enterprise AI startup, leading the European rollout from Munich and partnering directly with the CEO. You'll sit at the intersection of hands-on AI agent development, high-touch enterprise partnership, and team-building — turning large organisations into genuinely AI-native operators.

What You'll Do

• Own and drive the company's European go-to-market from Munich, working closely with the CEO.

• Diagnose high-leverage AI opportunities within enterprise accounts and prioritise the highest-value use cases.

• Build initial agents and workflows to prove value quickly, then scale adoption across entire organisations.

• Run agent hackathons and coach C-suite stakeholders on AI transformation and rollout strategy.

• Navigate complex enterprise politics — finding champions, removing blockers, and building relationships at every level.

• Represent customer needs to product and engineering, advocating for features and changes that accelerate adoption.

• Hire, mentor, and shape the growing European team as the business scales.

• Continuously automate your own workflows using the platform's own AI agents.

What We're Looking For

• Deep, hands-on experience shipping AI agents, workflows, or production ML/AI features in enterprise environments.

• Strong grasp of model selection, routing, evaluation design, data residency, and integration architecture for enterprise AI deployments.

• Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and manage renewals/expansion within large, complex organisations.

• Proven stakeholder management skills across executive and operational levels.

• Experience building and leading cross-functional deployment teams, including hiring and mentoring.

• Commercially sharp, with a track record of influencing revenue outcomes.

• High ownership, high agency, low ego — bias for action and rapid prioritisation.

• Native-level German proficiency; based in Munich or willing to relocate.
