Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Center Technical Program Manager for a high-priority, hands-on tactical TPM role. The current consultant’s last billing day is September 11, so the client is looking to move quickly and have a replacement start ASAP.

Benchmark Profile: Raj's resume has been attached as a benchmark profile. The client specifically mentioned they are looking for a candidate with a similar profile and experience level to Raj. The candidate must be currently based in Reno, NV or willing to relocate to Reno and work onsite at the data center 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent infrastructure and technology projects in a dynamic environment.
• Translate high-level concepts and narratives into detailed execution plans.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide daily, hands-on onsite project coordination and problem-solving.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, security, logistics, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, project meetings, and progress updates.
• Oversee equipment move-in/move-out (MIMO) plans and site infrastructure deployments.
• Support physical security protocols, access control systems, and site monitoring solutions.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational best practices.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and leadership updates.
• Drive consensus and make independent decisions in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of Program Management, Project Management, or related experience focused on operational or infrastructure projects.
• Proven construction project management experience.
• Strong tactical technical program/project management experience.
• Hands-on, onsite project coordination experience involving cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Ability to take ambiguous or high-level requirements and develop executable plans.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Reno, NV.
• Must be able to work 5 days/week onsite at the data center.

• Data center technology or operations experience.
• Physical security systems experience.
• Large-scale infrastructure deployment experience.
• Technology incubation or prototyping experience.
• Google Workspace experience.
