Job Description
- Oversee the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage the IT team, providing leadership and guidance to achieve effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all technology operations.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with other departments to align IT services with organisational needs.
- Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
- Address and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of IT should have:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and team management abilities.
- Capability to develop and execute strategic IT plans.
- Proficient in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and familiar with modern cloud, networking, and security architectures.
- Deep expertise across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, AI and automation and service delivery.
- Solid understanding of IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance requirements across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
- Proven track record of building and developing high-performing IT teams, with experience managing across multiple locations or regions.
