Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Job Description:

·       Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

·       Build and optimize data models for reporting and analytics.

·       Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes.

·       Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.

·       Monitor data pipelines to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.

·       Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.

·       Optimize SQL queries and database performance.

·       Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards.

·       Troubleshoot data issues and provide timely resolutions.

·       Automate data workflows using orchestration tools.

·       Maintain technical documentation for data architecture and pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

·       Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

·       1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.

·       Strong proficiency in SQL.

·       Experience with Python or Scala.

·       Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.

·       Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

·       Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

·       Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.

·       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

·       Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience with Apache Spark.

·       Experience with Apache Kafka.

·       Hands-on experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.

·       Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

·       Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
