Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Planning Project Manager with strong expertise in Retail and Supply Chain Planning to lead cross-functional planning and technology projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Merchandise Planning, Allocation Planning, or other retail planning systems and a proven track record of delivering complex projects from initiation through completion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end planning and supply chain projects, including scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and risks.
  • Manage project milestones, dependencies, critical paths, issues, and changes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business, technology, vendor, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Business Analysts, and third-party vendors.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, meeting notes, action items, RACIs, and risk registers.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues to ensure successful delivery.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies based on project requirements.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and scope.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Project/Program Management experience, preferably within Retail, Supply Chain, or Enterprise IT.
  • Strong domain knowledge of Retail and Supply Chain Planning.
  • Experience with Merchandise Planning, Merchandise Allocation, Allocation Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, or related planning systems.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional technology or supply chain projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as:
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • Microsoft Project
    • Smartsheet
  • Strong skills in project planning, risk management, budgeting, coordination, communication, and leadership.
