Location: Palmdale, California (Onsite)

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for a Tooling Engineer to support a tooling department. The role involves designing industrial machinery and equipment required for production or experimental use. This position requires consideration of factors such as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design industrial machinery and equipment, including tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures.
• Develop machine attachments for production or experimental applications.
• Perform stress analysis and validate designs.
• Ensure designs account for accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance needs.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills: 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD); Aerospace Tooling; CATIA v5.

Certifications: A professional engineering certificate is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens NX/CATIA CAD tools or other applicable 3D CAD systems.
• Experience with Femap.
