Rang Technologies Inc has openings for Financial Business Analysts in Piscataway, NJ and other unanticipated locations nationwide.

Duties:

• Maintain the Kanban board on Azure DevOps and interact with the team to groom and maintain the user stories and epics on Azure Devops.
• Calculate the Time-Phased Cash-Flow Forecasts on MS Excel to indicate a month-over-month anticipated spend summary by budget area and cost code and link the schedule and time-phased budget so that cash flow can be forecasted.
• Research the sources of the data variables that are used in the script used to pull reports and write SQL queries (PROC SQL and Teradata) for joining several tables to pull those required variables supporting the analysis.
• Import data from multiple data sources including flat file, CSV file, Teradata, Oracle, SQL/Server and check the quality of data (any missing data, out of range data).
• Improve the efficiency of processes by automating manual tasks and improving the existing codes. Interpret results of financial analysis procedures.
• Interact with business users in Finance domain and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Work with application developers providing the technical information for the wireframe of Tableau reports from Live data and extract data to demonstrate customer reports real-time.
• Produce data view, dashboards, and reports on MS Excel and PowerPoint at the project level, which help to assess whether actual costs are running higher or lower than anticipated and determine a likely estimate at completion.
• Work with release engineering teams to coordinate web services code migration to higher environments and coordinate the test efforts with QA team on regression testing services functionality.
• Work with the Data team and provide details of data specifications with appropriate standards, facilitate a consistent approach for the acquisition of data sources to generate reports.
• Collaborate for the development and testing of new quantitative analytical software and ensure its compliance with the user requirements, specifications, or scope.
• Organize key data sets and code so they are easy to find and make routine queries that are easy for an analyst to find and run.
