Role:Zuora Revenue SME (Subject Matter Expert)

Location:Santa Clara, California - Hybrid

Job Summary

  • Serve as the primary SME for the Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue platforms, supporting subscription lifecycle management and billing operations.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Zuora solutions, including product catalog, pricing, subscriptions, invoicing, and payment configurations.
  • Configure and maintain Zuora workflows, billing rules, payment gateways, taxation, and revenue recognition processes.
  • Collaborate with business, finance, engineering, and QA teams to deliver enhancements, integrations, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot billing, invoicing, subscription, and payment issues while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with business policies.
  • Support integrations between Zuora and enterprise systems such as Salesforce, ERP (Oracle/SAP/NetSuite), and payment gateways using APIs and middleware.
  • Perform impact analysis, testing, documentation, user training, and release management for Zuora implementations and upgrades.
  • Monitor system performance, identify process improvements, and ensure best practices for subscription billing, automation, and revenue operations.
