 Hiring: Senior Financial Messaging & Middleware Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL / Jersey City, NJ – 100% ONSITE
 Duration: 6 Months
 Experience: 8–10 Years

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Architect, engineer, deploy, and support enterprise FIX and SWIFT messaging platforms.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SWIFT infrastructure components and messaging services.
• Support FIX Protocol messaging, routing, connectivity, and integration.
• Support SWIFT FIN, FINPlus, InterAct, and FileAct messaging services.
• Work with ISO 15022 (MT) and ISO 20022 (MX) financial messaging standards.
• Administer and troubleshoot Broadridge Appia, QuickFIX, SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), and SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG).
• Design and maintain highly available and resilient financial messaging architectures.
• Implement messaging security, encryption, authentication, and compliance controls.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for middleware and messaging platforms.
• Develop cloud-native and containerized solutions using OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Automate infrastructure and platform operations using Terraform and Ansible.
• Support AWS-based financial messaging environments.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Lead platform modernization, automation, resiliency, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Develop engineering standards, architecture documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, cloud, and operations teams.
• Support MQ/Kafka/API integrations with financial messaging platforms.

🔹 Required Technical Skills

• 6+ years of experience in middleware, financial messaging, or distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with FIX Protocol.
• Strong experience with SWIFT messaging platforms.
• Broadridge Appia / QuickFIX experience.
• SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA) and SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG).
• Experience with FIN / FINPlus / InterAct / FileAct.
• Knowledge of ISO 15022 (MT) and ISO 20022 (MX).
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting skills.
• Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• AWS cloud experience.
• Terraform and Ansible automation.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Strong understanding of messaging security, encryption, and connectivity.
• Experience with high availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, and production support.

🔹 Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• SWIFT certifications.
• SWIFT Customer Security Programme (CSP) compliance experience.
• Financial markets / capital markets experience.
• Highly available FIX/SWIFT architecture experience.
• IBM MQ / Kafka / API integrations.
