Our client is seeking an PHP Support Consultant to join their team at a customer office in Boca Raton, FL. This is a hands-on role primarily focused on PHP application support and enhancements, with approximately 20% of responsibilities dedicated to onsite IT support as the designated SPOC for an offshore IT team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support and enhancements for PHP-based web applications
• Perform website maintenance, performance monitoring, and bug fixes
• Support platform-related activities including basic administration tasks as directed by the customer team
• Act as the onsite IT SPOC to support an offshore IT team (~20% of role)
• Provide end-user support including laptop troubleshooting and basic IT assistance
• Coordinate infrastructure and network issues on-site
• Handle workstation setup and routine IT closet checks

Required Skills

• PHP development with web application support and maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for web applications
• Willingness to handle a hybrid role combining application development and IT support
• Basic end-user IT support skills (hardware, laptops, networking basics)
