NOC Analyst / Network Operations Analyst

Job Title: Network Operations Analyst (NOC Analyst)
Location: Syracuse, NY 13202
Job Type: Contract (6+ Months)
Work Mode: Onsite

We are hiring for a Network Operations Analyst (NOC Analyst) to support 24x7 network monitoring and incident management in a fast-paced Network Operations Center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network health and alarm activity using network management tools

• Analyze, triage, escalate, and resolve network incidents within SLA timelines

• Create and maintain incident tickets with accurate documentation

• Provide technical updates to internal teams and management

• Perform proactive monitoring to identify issues before service disruption

• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and technical support teams

• Track and follow up on incidents until closure

• Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2+ years of NOC / Network Monitoring / Network Surveillance experience

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Subnetting, and OSI Model

• Experience with incident management and ticketing systems

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced 24x7 support environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working rotational shifts (including nights/weekends)

• Occasional travel may be required (expenses reimbursed)

• Must be comfortable working onsite in Syracuse, NY
