Job Description

Senior Robotics Engineer

We are helping one of our early stage deep tech portfolio companies hire a Senior Robotics Engineer to lead their robotics architecture, building autonomous systems for large-scale outdoor operations.

You will own the robotics stack end-to-end, architecting the control and orchestration layers that enable single and multi-robot fleet operations across dynamic, unstructured environments. You will work closely with the computer vision team - AI Engineers and the founder/CEO.

The role involves in-office collaboration five days a week plus field deployment as part of the work.

What we're looking for:
  • Deep expertise in ROS (Robot Operating System), ideally on aerial or mobile robotics platforms
  • Strong control engineering background
  • Degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical or electronic engineering
  • Proven track record shipping autonomous systems into production (not just research)
  • Comfortable owning a complex robotics stack end-to-end with limited supervision
  • Prior experience deploying robots reliably in unstructured outdoor environments is a real plus
  • Exposure to drone autonomy, aerial robotics, or adjacent deep tech a bonus
Benefits
  • Early stage, meaningful equity
  • Competitive salary
  • Senior role in building the robotics architecture from the ground up at a pivotal stage, with significant autonomy and direct impact on the company's technical direction.
